Throughout my life, I have sought new challenges and opportunities. My first true passion emerged as a teenager when I discovered the world of weight training. Driven by the desire to improve, I soon turned to powerlifting, which became a defining part of my life. For many years, I devoted all my energy and dedication to competitive sports, participating in competitions organized by the Hungarian Powerlifting Federation.
Success came quickly: in 1995, I won my first Hungarian junior championship, and just two years later, I competed as a member of both the junior and adult national teams. Shortly after, I secured my first adult Hungarian championship title. My greatest international achievement was winning the Danube Cup Championship, where I set a new national and Danube Cup record with a deadlift of 332.5 kg. In 2003, during my last amateur competition, I won my sixth consecutive Hungarian championship title.
Seeing no new challenges in competitive sports, I decided to retire and focus on entrepreneurship. In 2002, I launched my first company, Tokasz Kft., and a small café near the Hegyeshalom border crossing. Soon, we operated seven gastronomy businesses in the region, the most famous being the popular Várkert Café in Mosonmagyaróvár.
Meanwhile, as a partner of the National Toll Payment Services Company (NÚSZ Zrt.), we began reselling Hungarian motorway vignettes, later expanding to include vignettes from neighboring countries.
In addition, we ventured into event organization. Wine culture has always been close to my heart, making wine tastings a key focus. After organizing several small and large wine events, I co-founded the VinÓvár event series in Mosonmagyaróvár and helped bring the first events to life.
In 2005, I entered the construction industry by co-founding TOBOKO, specializing in formwork rental. Years later, I became a co-owner of Óvár Kerítés Kft., a company focused on fence construction. Through targeted development, we prepared the company for sale and successfully sold it under favorable market conditions.
My trade experience proved valuable in building the Park Center Trafik in Mosonmagyaróvár, where I was a co-owner involved in its development. Our tobacco shop has expanded over the years through several growth phases to its current size. Here too, our core goal is to provide the best possible service to our customers with committed colleagues.
After nearly a decade-long break, my passion for professional powerlifting reignited in 2012, this time focusing on deadlift, a now independent discipline. Over the following years, I won several European and world championship titles with various world federations.
In 2018, I ended my competitive career with an age-group world championship title and world record at the WPC World Championship in Orlando.
Sport taught me everything essential for an entrepreneur: perseverance, willpower, resilience, and the constant drive for perfection. Like in sports, I believe in business that one must fight for their goals and adapt to a changing world. With this mindset, I entered the business world, always seeking new opportunities and working diligently to be among the best.
Sport became a vital part of my life in another form: I am co-founder and shareholder of Cutler Fitness Győr, one of Hungary’s largest and best-equipped gyms, spanning 3,200 m². Together with friends and partners, we constantly strive to develop, innovate, and offer the best possible service to our guests.
We have since expanded our portfolio by launching short-term rentals under the name Lucsony Apartment. The apartments are located in a modern real estate complex at the foot of Mosonmagyaróvár Castle, with quick and easy access to the city center.
I have always wanted to contribute to charitable work and community development. Although I don’t have as much time as I’d like, I am proud to be a founding member of the PÉLDA Association for Children of Szigetköz. Since summer 2024, I also serve as chairman of the board for the “Competitive Knowledge” Foundation in cooperation with Lőrincze Lajos Elementary School in Hegyeshalom, supporting the students there.
Over the years, we have gradually scaled down our gastronomy activities to focus resources on other business areas. Currently, we dedicate our gastronomic expertise exclusively to running Stettni Klub & Bisztró in Hegyeshalom, aiming to consistently offer guests satisfying and positive experiences.
It has always been my dream to move beyond the service sector and create something sustainable. The idea of real estate development has long intrigued me, but only recently has the opportunity to realize this vision arisen. Our goal is to establish a long-term presence in this field and, as in all our ventures, always give our best and deliver excellence.
Conscious company building has become my passion in recent years. I am convinced the true foundation is a team of outstanding and committed colleagues. A strong, united community where everyone works with dedication to build a company that achieves not only economic success but also positive social and environmental impact.
Where will my journey end? For me, there is no final destination. The most important thing is to always stay in the game, continuously develop, and repeatedly create value. I believe limits exist only as long as we do not decide to overcome them.
